Jardines and Development Beyond Learning (DBL) have partnered since 2018 to reimagine, design, deliver and continuously improve the Jardines Executive Trainee Scheme (JETs) 3-year learning programme.​

Solutions

Use of data driven learning opportunities: DBL used recruitment and evaluation data to identify key development areas which were then expanded into themes that aligned to the overall business strategy.​​

Contextualised Learning Experiences: The experience of previous and current JETs was used to contextualise the learning and provided a detailed experience where required while allowing for more expansive thinking that is needed in the ever-evolving world of work.​

Trend Focused Experiential Opportunities: DBL worked alongside Jardines to to identify trends in the early career market that allowed for rapid evolution of learning experiences. The use of experiential activities as well as new and emerging technologies, increased participant engagement and skill application.​

Tangible results

Retention: With a retention rate of 83% over the duration of the programme, the JETs programme has achieved a higher rate that the Institute of Student Employers benchmark.​

Outstanding Performance Reviews: Participants in the JETs programme were rated higher on their performance review year-on-year with over half being awarded the highest scores.​

Increased Talent Demand: The success of the programme has increased the desire from all business units within Jardines to have access to this talent pool.​
